Jolly Holiday snaps!

Then the serious drinking [ er, I mean international socialising] began [Below]

But Enough of that! Let’s just say that a good time was had by all, and even our hosts enjoyed our dancing, we processed around Landivisiau in their carnival, dancing MOST of the way [it was a LOOOONG procession]. We were hosted, in the evening, at a large  French style ceilidh, with long tables full of food and we had to sing a  song, performing on a stage, which was very embarrassing, for us, as we hadn’t prepared and were slightly inebriated! The Sunday, we were very stiff and a lot of yelps of  “ow” were heard as we started our first dance on the Sunday morning, outside of a local church. Being young, as we were then, we coped, it is only pain, it doesn’t hurt! [so our Squire told us! eh ?]
